Saina Nehwal is India's best shuttler. She had a break out year in 2006 where she beat some of the best in the world. She also achived various feats that no other woman in India has and has become the country's future prospect in the sport. She is the only woman to have ever won a 4 star event when she won the 2006 Phillipines Open. She bases herself in Hyderabad where she trains with former champion Mr. P Gopichand who also serves on the advisory board of the Trust.
SAINA NEHWAL- India’s #1 women’s badminton player, junior national champion, bronze medalist at the 2006 Commonwealth Games, lives and trains in Hyderabad.
